Kiwanians of Worcester work together to achieve what one person cannot accomplish alone. | Founded in 1915 in Detroit and with headquarters now in Indianapolis, Kiwanis International is a thriving organization of service-and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world. More than 8,000 clubs in 96 countries serve the children of the world. |
 | Santa Night 2008 In December 2008, two Friday winter storms forced the Kiwanis Club of Worcester to cancel their annual Santa Night. But despite the weather and due to the donations made by friends and family and the Corporate Sponsors listed below, the Club was able to give a check in the amount of $3000 to Gordon Hargrove, the Director of Friendly House, Inc. These funds will be used to help in all of the different areas within the Friendly House as they devote their efforts to the children in our community..."changing the world, one community, one child at a time"...just as the Kiwanis Clubs all over the world do! The Kiwanis Club of Worcester would like to thank the following Sponsors who made donations to Santa Night:
| Providence & Worcester Railroad | Intransit Container, Inc | | Gardner Automotive | W.J. Hoey Tire Co., Inc | | Peterson Steel Corp. | B & D Supply, Inc | | Commonwealth National Bank |
